Valentines Tea!

Valentines Day was a lot of fun this year as Lydia hosted a Valentine Tea Party with a few of her friends. It was darling to see these cute little girls all dressed up! The funny thing about most of these pictures is that Lydia has entered the world of smiling for the camera. Which means you get a giant grin when you "Say Cheese" but you also get hillarious little squinty eyes!

Today we went and had Lydia's two year pictures taken. She actually turns two a week from today, but I wanted to make sure we took them before her two year doctor visit. Last year I made the mistake of scheduling her pictures a couple days after we had gone to the doctor and she had received her shots. Let's just say that the picture studio being a strange place with strange people wanting her to sit up on a white table didn't go over very well! This year she did great. Maybe if we're lucky she'll say cheese next week when she gets her shots rather than cry! I wanted to share a few of my favorites with all of you. Enjoy!

Tell Them That You Love Them!

Today we heard some devistating news from a dear and favorite family of ours from Albuquerque. On Thursday night their 18 month old son died in his sleep of SIDS. Our hearts are broken and pouring out in prayer on their behalf. I just wanted to ask anyone who reads this to please say a prayer for the Peterson family. I can't stop thinking of them or what they must be experiencing. I know that tonight when I tucked my baby girl in bed I hugged her a little tighter. Our little ones are so precious and we often forget how fragile life is. Please take time to Tell Them That You Love Them.

Dan, Dan, The Birthday Man!

Dan is going to die when he sees that I put up these pictures of him, but he is so worth celebrating! Today is his 30th Birthday and we just wanted to send out three cheers for Dan for being the best Husband, Father and Friend anyone could ever ask for! Dan you make life wonderful! LOVE YOU!
